As the mom of three spirited little ones, I quickly realized my curated version of motherhood was far from reality. Through sleep deprivation and toddler tantrums, I found enjoyment as a whole family was few, far between & often fleeting. What I did enjoy was creating fun experiences for my children and their friends + parents. Birthday parties morphed into whole family entertainment and the longer guests stayed the more I’d gauge the party as a success. I often heard parents saying things like, I can’t remember the last time I had an adult conversation without interruption. The secret, I found, was giving children the opportunity to engage themselves while providing parents things they naturally enjoyed most. Things like good food, yummy drinks, time to catch up with friends, and great ambiance. I felt strongly there were many traditional experiences that could be so much better, like visiting Santa at the mall. I stood in line with antsy, fussy, impatient little ones one two many times. Then, I discovered a photographer doing Santa mini photo session. Talk about a game changer. Quick in-and-out, beautifully curated photos of your family. I knew then, I could take this thing to the next level of enjoyment. And there, PartyHouz was born!
